Minimum Group

In the event the minimum number of ladies for the group you have registered for is not reached, we will contact you with alternative options for timings, days and location. In the event of cancellation, we will issue a full refund.

Refund Policy

Please note that once payment has been received for lessons with The Birdie Club, it is non-refundable and may not be transferred to any future programme.
The booking may be transferred to another individual, provided they are not already registered with The Birdie Club already (applicable to both venues).

Catchup Sessions

Anyone who fails to show for their lesson on their allocated day/time, will be marked as a “no-show” and your lesson will be considered used.
We will do our best to accommodate you if you give us advance notice (more than 48hrs) that you are not able to attend your lesson. Catchups are subject to group numbers and are not guaranteed.
Any last minute cancellations received within 24 hours of the lesson, will not be eligible for a catchup session. Please note our week runs from Monday to Sunday. Catchups are subject to group numbers and are not guaranteed.
Catchups are offered at the discretion of The Birdie Club and are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis (not guaranteed). Catchup sessions may be withdrawn at the discretion of The Birdie Club and hosting golf club at any time.

Catchup sessions are limited to your Teaching Professional only.

If you are offered a catchup session and do not attend/ cancel on the day, this session will be considered used.

On the occasion that your Teaching Professional is not available, additional time may be added to following weeks or an additional session will be added onto the programme.

Lesson Locations

Please note that lessons are location-specific. Bookings and payments apply only to the selected location and cannot be transferred or used at other locations.

Photography Permission

You agree to be photographed whilst on golf club premises, during your lessons and during Birdie Club events. You agree for these images to be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to: social media, website, promotional material, online and physical advertising, print media and collateral. If you wish to opt out, simply let us know in writing!

Refund Policy

For all of our events, we take full payment to secure your place. Refunds will be issued in line with our Event Refund Policy which can be found on our policies page. You will find details of applicable refunds on the specific event listing at the time of booking.

Arriving Late?

If you arrive late for your lessons, your lesson will be shortened to finish at the allocated time, to accommodate others whose lessons follow yours. Regardless of the length of the lesson given, you will be responsible for the “full” lesson and one lesson will be considered used. Out of respect and consideration to your PGA professional and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.

National Holidays

Lessons will run as scheduled on National Holidays, as golf clubs remain operational. Clients are responsible for planning their attendance accordingly (missed sessions will not be eligible for catchup). This includes, but is not limited to; UAE Flag Day, UAE National Day, Commemoration Day, Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha and Islamic New Year. All lessons run as scheduled during the month of Ramadan.

Weather

Weather plays a big role in the enjoyment and safety of a lesson. The weather in the UAE can often be delightful, however on the odd occasion, rain, sandstorms, and other hazards may present themselves.

Lessons may be moved indoors into the indoor facility where available. Cancellations will be communicated on the group WhatsApp.
All lessons/events will be scheduled and go ahead as scheduled unless there is risk of health and safety. If a lesson/event is cancelled due to weather, the lesson or event will be arranged with the club to run at another time. Lessons will only be cancelled upon the advice of the hosting golf club. If a person chooses to not attend lesson/event, when they have not been cancelled, they will be marked as a “no-show” and the lesson/event will be considered used. No catch-up session will be offered.
